Independent Member, Investment Committee
Jason is an Independent Member of Lipman Burgon’s Investment Committee, bringing more than 20 years of experience in investment strategy, asset allocation and governance across private wealth, family office and philanthropic portfolios.
His career spans leadership roles across banking, private wealth and institutional asset consultancy, underpinned by a track record of disciplined, client-focused investment outcomes.
Alongside his work at Lipman Burgon, Jason consults to Ellerston Capital on strategy and engagement across the family office and private wealth sectors. He is also Head of Investments at Aura Group, a Singapore- and Sydney-based private markets, wealth and digital business, and serves on several investment committees, including Australian Philanthropic Services and Third Link.
From 2014 to 2023, Jason was Partner and Head of Research at Koda Capital, building its investment strategy from inception, after earlier senior roles at ANZ Global Wealth and asset consultancy CPG/Grove Financial Services.
Jason’s expertise spans public and private markets, global macro and alternatives. Known for his analytical depth, uncorrelated return-seeking mindset and pragmatic approach to robust portfolio frameworks, Jason joins Andrew Batsakis as Lipman Burgon’s two independent Investment Committee members, strengthening Lipman Burgon’s ability to deliver consistent, thoughtful outcomes for our clients.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Queensland.
