Nandita Alva
Partner & Chief Operating Officer
Nandita is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Lipman Burgon, and a member of the firm’s Executive team, overseeing Marketing & Events, People & Culture, Finance, Operations, Technology, Digital Transformation and Risk Management.
The first woman to reach partnership at the firm, she was appointed unanimously by the existing partners in record time. Across her remit, Nandita has strengthened Lipman Burgon’s operational foundations, governance standards, financial management oversight and client experience, while building a culture that invests in its people and broadens access to financial knowledge for women.
Her initiatives span technology adoption and AI integration, cybersecurity, vendor management, outsourcing strategy, and the professional development of women both within the firm and across its client community. She is the founder and host of Women, Wealth and Wisdom, the firm’s flagship event series that brings together leading investors, entrepreneurs and industry voices to connect women with the knowledge, relationships and perspectives that matter most in their wealth journeys.
She brings more than 15 years of experience in financial services, including senior roles at Deutsche Bank, Alpha Vista Financial Services and FIIG Securities.
Nandita holds a Master of Applied Finance from UNSW, an MBA with Distinction from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours from the University of Auckland. She is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
